Blood collection needles are part of the blood collection system and are used with a holder to transfer blood from the vein into the blood collection tube. These needles are multi-sample type, meaning they can be used to collect blood into multiple tubes for a single person. Ava blood collection needles are made in gauges 21 and 22 and are compatible with various blood collection holders. The color of the cap and hub follows specific standards, making it easier to quickly identify the gauge of the needle.
