Luer Slip Syringe

uses

Syringes are commonly used to administer medicinal solutions for disease management and treatment. During injection, medication is drawn into the syringe’s chamber via suction and then injected into the body. Syringes are classified in various ways, including by volume, tip type, components, and overall design. Volume and tip type are particularly important factors in product marketing and distribution. Syringes can be categorized by volume (in cc) into sizes such as 0.5, 1, 2, 2.5, 3, 5, 10, 20, and even 30 and 50 cc. Based on the syringe tip type, they are classified into four categories: Luer Lock (threaded), Luer Slip (6% taper), eccentric, and catheter tip syringes.
