The Safe Irrigation Syringe by Ava is of the luer-lock type. In this type of syringe, the injection needle is securely attached to the syringe by rotating it into the threaded part, locking it in place. The needle of the Safe Irrigation Syringe is non-sharp, specifically designed for irrigation purposes in dentistry, and is not suitable for injection or blood collection.
