uses
One of the common methods for injecting medication solutions into a patient’s body for controlling and treating their illness is using a syringe. During injection, the medication is drawn into the syringe chamber through suction and then injected into the living body. There are various classifications based on volume, needle type, components, and syringe type, with volume and type being two crucial characteristics for introducing and marketing the product. Syringes are classified by volume (in cc) into 0.5, 1, 2, 2.5, 3, 5, 10, 20, and even 30 and 50 cc syringes. Based on the type of syringe tip, syringes are divided into 4 categories: Luer-lock syringes (with threaded tip), Luer-slip syringes or 6-degree tapered syringes, off-center syringes, and catheter syringes.
