Scalp Needle

uses

One of the needles used for injecting medication into the body is the Scalp Vein Set, which is a butterfly needle typically inserted at a 15° angle into the vein. Scalp veins come in different gauges, and the gauge variety is suitable for different age groups. Typically, the smaller the diameter of the needle (higher gauge), the younger the individual is. Different colors are used on the hub and connector to indicate the gauge of the needle.
