IV Catheter

uses

An IV Catheter, also known as an IV Catheter, peripheral venous catheter, or intravenous cannula, is a versatile medical device used for rapid venous access or injection. It consists of a small, flexible tube (catheter) attached to a needle, which is inserted into a vein. IV Catheters are commonly used for intravenous therapy, long-term infusions, blood sampling, high-volume injections, hemodialysis, fluid therapy, and the administration of drugs and infusion solutions. The duration of use can range from 3 days to approximately one month, depending on the insertion site.
